Goats and Bible’s

Pastor George has been able to complete an outreach in a rural part of India - that has included caring for those who have very little and struggle day to day.

Over the course a few days he saw plenty of young people drawn to Christianity want to explore what Jesus is all about. We have been able to provide some Bibles for over 40 people in this area. One of the Pastors who attends out training days on a regular basis has facilitated this outreach.

We’ve also been busy thinking of ways to enable a family to step out of lack and find a way for them to begin a small business. Having been supporting this family with food from time to time we realised this is not a long-term solution. So we have been able to gift them with two goats so they can have a source of income going forward. The goats may also be therapeutic for their son who is quite disabled.

It is a great pleasure to be able to help with these things. Sometimes it’s the small gifts that look insignificant that can actually make a massive difference to family - being able to have a source of income and feed their family themselves is empowering them and ultimately value in a community setting.
