Exploits in India

It’s been our privilege to be able to help the Church in India reach out to those around them. One Church has a big heart for the younger generation who suffer with disabilities. Some have no family to care for them and others are very poor and struggle to provide due to the social systems that function across India and poverty levels. It has been great to help provide food for them. In my own experience from our outreach here it is in the consistency and the presence of the Church that brings a sense of belonging that every human being values the most. To be able to gift them with food is a byproduct of the relationship that the local Pastor in church has intentionally built with the people which is wonderful.

Serving the surrounding communities

In another part of India we’ve been able to help another Church to set up a refreshment outreach for the poor. A place where they can get food and what they need. As a gateway it works two ways for the church firstly the poor get fed and secondly the church engage in very local mission. We love the idea of the Church having a food shack as an outreach that just loves people right where they are.

We have hosted a conference for leaders in India via online to come together have some food, get some teaching pray together share experiences. The reason we do leadership days is to bring people together as leadership can be very isolating at times and it’s always better if we go together as a group rather than keep leading in isolation.
