The Journey begins

We are pleased to share that we have ten women in Kigali have begun their freedom journey. This years course started two weeks ago after much needed repairs to the machines in the training room.

This year the local government have sent us ten of the most vulnerable women in the community. The Church of Gods people runs the program each week and we have a new trainer, Francine as our very loyal Giselle who had been with for 11 years retired. Working with such vulnerable women can be very tiring, they come with many challenges such as addiction and the behaviours that go it. Giselle did well to help so many women over so many years and we appreciate all her hard work and bless her going forward in life.

As we welcome Francine and the new class pray with us that God upholds them as the seek to find and make lasting change. Pray for provision to cover the costs of the trainer and materials to learn and give praise for what is to come - families restored, school fees paid and food and rent provided for once a woman has completed. Lives really are changed - you can watch a short clip here sent to us recently from last years graduates.

Thank you for your prayers, support and care for those who are stuck in the cycle of poverty. Lives and communities are truly transformed through this very simple and basic piece of mission.
