Remote Places
A few months ago Pastor D was able to visit a rural church in the remote foothills of Nepal close to Tibetan border and spend some time with them praying and sharing the Bible with them.
We have been able to send money for some Bibles for that Church as they didn’t have them for the people. It’s been hard to buy the much needed Bibles locally. After much prayer we have now been able to do so and this week Pastor D has been able to go and spend time with the Church and distribute them. The trip to the remote Church is very far and the team have to travel large parts of the journey on foot - taking up to four days to arrive - we can’t imagine. They have to cross a river on foot twenty five times so these trips are prayed over before and during their travel. This is the passion that people have for the Bible; a treasured gift.
The Church is very thankful for the Bibles and will treasure the gift of them. We are so thankful to everyone who has given generously to make this possible.
We have no idea what it’s like to live in a place where it’s not possible to have a Bible or have access to teaching. We are really happy to support them and to send Pastor D to be with them.
