Life Is Good

This is Valerie, at 79 years of age. She had two children who both sadly died of natural causes along with her husband as well. She has found herself living alone and struggling to maintain the house she owns in Rwanda. The walls were crumbling leaving her vulnerable in the rainy season to heavy rains destroying it further. She has one remaining granddaughter who is away.

When John called us to say did we have heart to help this elderly woman with her home which needed some serious renovation. Whilst it’s not our number one thing I felt in my heart to have compassion on someone who has been through so much pain and sorrow. In her latter years she needs live safely, not worrying when the walls are falling down how she will make it through. As an extra little bonus we felt to provide a mattress and bedding so Valerie no longer has to sleep on the floor each night.

Jesus often stopped to help the ones He met along the way through practical demonstration whilst also speaking about Gods ways and who He is. The love of God can be seen through practical, everyday things.

We have gone ahead and with your help - we have been able to transform the home and leave a good solid place for Valeries granddaughter who will inherit it eventually. In the meantime Valerie will enjoy her latter years living peacefully.

Thank you so much for making this possible - Valerie is very happy and she now feels life os good thanks to God remembering her.
