Helping Hands

Today we have asked Giselle to go on a mission to help the women in Bugesera at the new Co operative we helped to launch with Pastor John a few months ago. Giselle normally works with the Freedom Project women in Kigali teaching them the skill of sewing whilst discipling them at the same time.

It has become clear that the Co operative needed an extra layer of mentoring on growing a business and making profit. There are so many things we all need recovery from and these women have done well to step away from controlling relationships to find their freedom but the questions they are probably now left with is how so I do this with no one telling me what to do? Am I allowed to make my own choices? I know too well from my own recovery journey this can be a big battle and mindset to overcome.

So I am so happy that Giselle is willing to go help with her practical mindset and her loving heart towards those whom have passed through deep levels of trauma and violation. She is sharing about the importance of unity amongst them to make the business work and how God transformed her own life at the age of sixteen when she learned to use a sewing machine and could pay for her children’s fee’s, buy food and provide clothes for them, She is now 49 and equipping others to rise up from the place of poverty and low self worth.

I personally thank God for Giselle as what she does is not easy. The women come to our projects very broken and hurting. She is person of great stability and a champion for them where there has been neglect she brings praise. Please do continue to pray and support our vital ministry both in Rwanda and here in the UK with women. If you would like to give to these projects then please visit our donation page or send me an email.
