A Secure Place

Last week I had the joy of leading a teaching day on finding Hope in adversity. It seems to be the theme of my life for the last few years, to be constantly battling the onslaught of difficult situations that come up against the vision of our lives from small day-to-day things to other ones that are much larger in ministry on in our over all life. Right now Richard and I are facing very big adversity and we are learning to go through it slowly and gently with ourselves holding the hand of Jesus himself to guide us through and protect us.

On the day I led three sessions on how to find hope - managing the storms when they hit, God is always at work in the darkest times of our lives to bring goodness of mercy to be seen for all and the final one was finding our secure place in Christ in a real way not just a theory. I enjoyed the day immensely and love doing these kind of things right now. I find God always speaks to me through teaching and listening to others as they engage and ask questions. Despite going through adversity we must keep going in what God has called us to do as that in itself is a secure place for us to dwell in - as He is right there.

I wonder if you found your secure place where you’re already able to walk that out by faith and be led by fear , we pray for you that your faith will lead you forward to encounter Christs love towards you and in that secure place you will find the God who still does miracles we pray for you so much that you experience this and it will not just be head knowledge.

If you live down south and you’re looking for some inspirational days to go to then Dalesdown is having the next one in July and some more going forward throughout the year so please do have a look on their website great little place to go and hang out and let God speak to you.
