A love filled Christmas
Alison was able to zoom into the classroom of the Freedom Ministry, Kigali in early December. It was wonderful to spend an hour sharing a devotion and then listening to their stories of healing and transformation.
I was able to speak about the good news of Jesus from Mary’s perspective in the Bible. How God chose a person who would acknowledge that God had not forgotten them by His goodness to her. She was humble and a regular person who maybe had little hope in her life before God appointed her to be the mother of the saviour of the world. He does not forget the unseen, hidden, humble people - rather He comes to them to bring hope and restoration in their fractured world. The women who often feel forgotten and have a low self esteem were so encouraged that God loves them when those in the world may not.
We have been able to give food for the women to take home over the Christmas period for their children. This is a true blessing for them to be able to feed their families. We are hoping the women will be able to graduate in April - they are well on track and excited to begin their small businesses. Please keep praying for them as they keep walking towards their inner and outer change.
Thank you to those of you who have been able to support the women and thanks to Pastor Jeanine who
